About This Course
Course Description – Performance Improvement
In the face of rapid, disruptive change, pragmatic companies are realizing that leaders can’t be expected to have all the answers and that command-and-control leadership is no longer viable. As a result, many organizations are moving towards a performance model in which leaders facilitate problem solving and encourage employees’ development by asking questions and offering support and guidance rather than giving orders and making judgments.
Through the formal process of performance coaching, we will support you in pursuing growth, development, and peak performance in your career. This journey is aimed to take you from competence to mastery; and help you in making that leap from good to great.
Communicating with Non-Finance Stakeholders
Being simple can sometimes be the most complex puzzle one has to solve. As a finance & governance professional playing with the numbers, interpreting accounting standards and writing different reports day in day out can strongly influence our ability to communicate in a simple and effective way with our non-Finance stakeholders.
As an example, we can easily be off guard when the CEO asks “what exactly it means for the business”. Your response here will determine how far you move in the career.
How then to be in the shoes of our Non- Finance Stakeholders and what practices can be adopted to make it almost the second nature to communicate in an effective and simple manner are the questions that need to be answered.
If this is something you are currently working on and wish to discuss the challenges being faced in this journey, then we have someone who belongs to the same fraternity, has worked with various stakeholders in multiple geographies and has been able to influence senior management to invoke and implement change.
He is a Chartered Accountant from England & Wales, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK.
